If you found the original What’s on Your Seed? publication helpful and have been waiting for an update, the wait is over. The resource has been completely refreshed—and it’s now interactive.

Instead of a static PDF, “What’s on Your Seed?” is now an easy-to-use online tool. This new format allows you to explore seed treatment information in ways that make sense for you. You can sort products by crop, active ingredient, or other categories to clearly see what’s included in today’s commercial seed treatments.

The tool is hosted on the Crop Protection Network website and is designed to help users better understand the products they are using or discussing.

With this tool, you can:

  • Identify the active ingredients in commercial seed treatment packages
  • Learn what each component does and how it is classified
  • Compare seed treatment products and technologies
  • Support crop management decisions, teaching, and outreach
  • Access seed treatment information from a trusted, university-based source

Whether you’re answering a farmer’s question, comparing treatment options, or conducting research, the “What’s on Your Seed?” tool offers a convenient way to better understand the products and technologies found on today’s seed.

Important note: This resource does not evaluate the effectiveness of seed treatments and does not endorse or criticize any specific product. Always use pesticides according to the manufacturer’s current label directions.
