Join the WiscWeeds Team and UW-Extension on Friday, June 26 for the 2026 Rock County Farm WiscWeeds Management Plot Tour — a free, hands-on field event hosted at Rock County Farm in Janesville, WI.

This year’s tour will highlight integrated weed management strategies for giant ragweed and waterhemp in corn and soybean production systems. Attendees will walk through research plots showcasing:

  • Comparative performance of PRE- and POST-emergence herbicide programs
  • Insights into planting green and its impact on early-season weed control
  • Weed management considerations in high-oleic soybean
  • We’ll also spotlight emerging technologies, including research on novel herbicide active ingredients (epyrifenacil [Rapidicil] and diflufenican [Convintro]) and soybean herbicide tolerance traits.

Connect with farmers, agronomists, Industry representatives, and other Ag professionals who are working to advance weed management solutions in Wisconsin row crops.

Lunch will be provided following the tour, courtesy of Valent USA and Bayer Crop Science.
CCA CEUs available!
